Designed by Massimo Castagna, the collection draws inspiration from the most authentic essence of Riva, tapping into its rich history spanning over 180 years of tradition. Every detail reflects the masterful craftsmanship that has defined the Sarnico brand since 1842 — from the ‘dolce vita’ myth of the 1960s to the technological innovation and full-custom approach that mark its most recent evolution. An ode to the sea, to beauty, to the art of living: this is Exteta x Riva.

With sculptural shapes and generous volumes, the upholstered pieces appear to float on delicate feet, creating an effect that is both light and dynamic. The armrests are available in two versions: upholstered, or in wood reminiscent of Riva’s boat hulls. Completing the collection are the lounge chair and director’s chair — designs of essential elegance that still offer comfort with deep padded seats — along with dining tables and coffee tables in wood with parallel slatted tops, a tribute to the iconic elements of the yachts. Adding further refinement to the line is the stainless steel wireless lamp, which provides discreet illumination.

Seats, upholstered pieces, tables, furnishings and accessories: the eclecticism of the collection creates refined convivial settings, shaping lounge corners, relaxation areas and dining spaces in which to enjoy the outdoors with ease. Every element carries Riva’s distinctive character, starting with the materials: fine Sapelli mahogany, masterfully crafted and presented in its iconic glossy finish, and stainless steel, adding luminous and vibrant accents.
